Broadsound Solar Farm
The #Yurika team is delighted to have commenced work on Broadsound Solar Farm and Battery in collaboration with world-leading renewable energy company Iberdrola Australia.
Broadsound Solar Farm is a 376MW (dc) facility located in central Queensland’s Clarke Creek. Yurika is excited to partner with Iberdrola Australia to complete the substation EPC works.

Zenviron lands BOP contract for 1.4 GWh battery project
Zenviron, which specialises in the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia and New Zealand, will deliver the balance-of-plant (BOP) design, construction, installation and commissioning of the Wooreen battery energy storage system.
The facility, one of six large-scale projects to receive financial backing through the first round of federal government’s Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS), will be constructed alongside EnergyAustralia’s 450 MW gas-fired Jeeralang power station at Hazelwood North in the Latrobe Valley.
Gawara Baya Wind Farm
Congratulations to Windlab on the recent approval of the 400MW Gawara Baya Wind Farm in North Queensland. Gawara Baya will be online by 2027, producing enough clean energy to power the equivalent of 240,000 Queensland households, reducing the carbon emissions intensity of the State's energy system by 1.2 million tonnes every year!
